So, these are some sketches I did from Photos after being so frustrated by trying to take live drawings.. The good thing is that this is the only way I can sketch myself from the back and start dieting...
and Imke, I LOVE that marker you sent me. It makes my lines more simple
its a pen with a brush-like end. you basically hold a pen with ink and draw brush lines without the mess. Imke had it and I asked for it because i couldn't find it where i live
funny that this pen seems to make the illustrators world go round... i used it for a comic-workshop i did with teenagers and they all loved it. calmed them down. literally! ( this is part of the magic :)
Heleen gave me a brush with a plastic deposit for ink or watercolor or whatever. I'm very happy with it cause you can use a brush without the mess. I imagine the pentel one is something like that but only for ink. It makes (in collaboration with Tali) a beautiful line.

very nice- fully ok to draw from photographs. i think it is a step inbetween to life-drawings...
