The same drawing state 2 My idea is to print the etchings in different states as well. Maybe by the end I'll just have a black cross-hatched plate. That's my fantasy, anyway.
Do you only want line work? Have you considered aquatint with "sugar technique" as a way of making free ink drawings directly in the plate? (I think it could suit your work)
I want to just line work. The black plate- I just want to do a whole plate full of cross hatching. Obliterating those faces as I develop them. Like photographs that first develop and then go black if you don't fix them.
