Huesos

Cherry, olive, nectarine, apricot, medlar (nispel in dutch?).

I need a new notebook, this one has a very strange paper that absorbs ink and watercolor. It gets completely soaked on it making it really difficult to work with and taking all the color away.

The second try on a nicer paper was much better:


And then I got a bit obsessed with the nectarine one and made tons of drawings last evening, here's a selection:



(we call huesos the bones of the body and the big pits of the fruits, not watermelon's)

My idea is to print the etchings in different states as well. Maybe by
the end I'll just have a black cross-hatched plate. That's my fantasy,
anyway.

undergound platform. I made a watercolour too.

I'm not that happy about the way they turned out... But I have discovered something that I'd like to keep on drawing. When I go around in the mountains, I find lots of nice refreshing fountains that I would like to draw. I'm just wondering, how, cause I don't want it to be picturesque... I'll show you when something watery starts coming out of my sketchbook.

Mirror, or self portrait with pain in the ear.
I wont finish in time, but this alphabet thing is amusing and motivating me a lot. You should try it.

Breakfast, of course. I like the pencil work, but not so much the composition. Maybe it would have been better something like the following:

CHupachús

Chupa Chups is the main lollipops brand here in Spain, so we ended calling them all chupachús.
And yes, in spanish alphabet "ch" is a letter, well wikipedia sais it's a digraph, but it's considered as a letter also in Chamorro, Czech, Slovak, Quechua, Welsh, Cornish, Breton and Belarusian Łacinka alphabets
I'm eating it now, maybe I'll show you the stick later.

Cuadrados, Conductos

Conductos... channels of the leaf ¡I know it's a strange "C" drawing, but I really wanted to draw them. As I was feeling bad about it (Am I cheating? imagine if the Z arrives and I can't have my prize cause I cheated with the C) I also drew some Cuadrados (squares)

As I'm drawing nothing lately, I decided to cheat myself. I started yesterday a drawing alphabet. If I'm able to finish by the end of june, I'll buy myself a nice something.
